Why not allow the amount to vary, at the choice of the user, with a
proportional share of input into the prioritization of enhancement list
each year? That way, companies with big investments and big pocketbooks
can steer the 3000 enhancements in the direction that does the most good
for them -- and thereby increases the value of the 3000 to that company
-- which in turn helps to insure the future profitability of the 3000
for HP. Would this fly?
