The other week I sent a message about my client's DTC timing out over
the LAN, in other words it keeps dropping.

One the of the answers that intrigued me was to switch over to BNC
connections vice the AUI to a hub that it is currently using. Both the
HP3000 and the DTC are using their AUI ports to separate transceivers
which in turn are connected to the same hub. I suspect that the hub is
somehow failing in its job as a middleman, and if the DTC and the HP
were on the same piece of wire the DTC would stop timing out.

Are there any more opinions on this or should I be looking closer at my
network configuration?
