It's somewhat ironic that Wirt, who fought desperately against treating
QCTerm like a terminal earlier ... insisting instead that it was closer to a
word processor (#1) ... is now insisting that it works more like a terminal!

Of course, it doesn't matter...it's precisely as a *terminal* that the
"terminate every paste with <return>" is the wrong choice... nay, the
*dangerous* choice! With a word processor, you can usually undo the
problems caused by the <return>. Of course, that's irrelevant...we're not
concerned with what a word processor (or any other application)
might do if it had a broken paste operation...because *they don't*, and
because we're discussing QCTerm. AFAIK, only QCTerm mishandles paste
in this way ... and it's been shown to be bad.

#1: When I earlier pointed out that control-C/control-V were unconditionally
being treated as copy/paste, which made it hard to transmit them
to the HP 3000 (or other computer). Wirt finally implemented my
suggestion: a user-controllable toggle to determine whether they should
be treated as ordinary characters or as copy/paste. (Thanks, BTW!)
