Terry -

I'm assuming that you are only using hostbased management.

From my *reading* I think you might have two problems. In your info about
the configuration, you did not mention that you set up the profile
DUALTERM under the GOTO Switch function under the profile.

If you have done that, this second item seems more likely. The DTC will
only download from one system. You set up a DTC entry on the second
system only if you want Nailed LDEVs. If you want to set up the dtc on
sysB, don't put in the mac addresss. Make sure the name (node.domain.org)
is correct, but enter the MAC address at all zeros. This is listed in the
5.5 communicator on page 10-71.

Now, I have not tried any of this, but I am starting to do the reasearch
to work with it amongst our five systems which are now under Openview DTC
manager.

Can someone find the same info about the dummy MAC address in the manual
"Configuring Systems for Terminals, Printers, and Other Serial Devices"?
I have tried, but haven't found it yet.

Hope that works Terry, let me know.

And since this is from research and not experience, please correct me if I
am wrong.

/alan
