Handheld PCs are usually more expensive than Pocket PCs and a lot bigger
too.  If you want to look for a Pocket PC in the price range you specified,
you will be disappointed.  I did find a Compaq 3135 for $200 at Amazon.com.
It has a black&white screen, however. There is also a 3150, with more
memory, but the price is higher at $360 also at Amazon.com.  The neat thing
with these Pocket PCs is that you can expand them with the same sleeves as
the 3600, 3700 and 3800 series.

At HP, the Jornada 547 and 548 seem to be just a bit above your price point.
These are color units and very good.

You could also look for the Casios, they are right at the top end of your
price range.

Look for a model that runs Pocket PC 2000.  Now that P/PC 2002 is out you
should be able to get a good price on the prior models.

URGENT (DESPERATE) REQUEST!!!

Okay, I know it's late, Christmas is almost here, but then what would it be
if there weren't a few procrastinators (yours truly)!!

I'm looking for a middle of the line hand help pc for my wife.  She is a
nurse and there are a few apps that she would put on it.  The number one app
would be a drug interaction dictionary/data base.

I'm looking at the 2-300 dollar price rage.
