My PC self destructed so I'm not sure who wrote what but,

Renaming files accross accounts can be done under 5.0 OK.  Just be aware
that the GROUPID will remain the same as the source account and
MPE will automatically apply an ACD like the guy found after he
dowloaded some patches.  This can sometimes/lotsa times cause some
really weird access problems.  My best suggestion is find a small
test case and then *TEST* it.

We had a similar problem and it left operations running about like
a one eyed quail in a hail storm.
