For partial keyed reads:
1) You can serially read the records (for many of the shrink wrapped Windows
apps its the only choice)
2) You could make sure there is an Image-BTree on the field and use the partial
key assuming left to right generic is the requirement
3) You could add Omnidex or Superdex to the database (useful if the number of
records is very high)
4) You could use a shadow KSAM file and link to the appropriate records in the
Image database (Works with DataExpress/ODBCLink and I think with Minisoft
ODBC/32)
I think these are your choices ... hope this helps ..
