Ok all of you printer gurus, help is needed here.
 
We are trying to use an Intermec 8646 printer connected to an HP3000 for Bar
Coded Inventory Labels.
 
Using Printer Type 18 with Xon/Xoff connected directly to a DTC port, we
have a problem when the spooler handles more than 6 labels. An undetected
overflow condition occurs and labels are lost. For example, if we attempt to
print 36 labels, 1 thru 6 will print correctly, 7 to 30 something will be
lost, and some of the latter labels will be printed correctly.
 
We have tried all combinations on the printer settings with no success. The
speed is set at 9600.
 
Any ideas of what can be done to fix this? (Well, or if it can not be done
with this printer.)
