I called and they have had 3 or 4 phone calls and no it did not happen there.  No Polish manager, big round table and flags over the doors.

Sorry, but a great story.

Would anyone like to call up the University Inn Best Western in Moscow Idaho at (208) 882-0550 and find out whether this story is true?  It wouldn't be much of a toll call for someone in, say, Northern Idaho (I'm talking to you, John).

It's a good read, but when you have disclaimer's like

"From a friend of a friend"

It's probably Inet legend.  Sounds like a similar story
I heard back during the Gulf War.
