1 - I try to build a cobol program that can open a database file and read
it and save it to a text file
its small program and very simple but i not now the commands that do it
Can anybody write this program for me ?

2 - Are there a way to backup the data from hp3000 (MPE) and restore it in
any outher operation system ,Like text files
