Well, if memory serves me correctly (and being 40 now, sometimes it
doesn't :-) ), Sunday, November 2 will be the day to officially
celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the HP 3000's "birth".
So...

          HAPPY 25th BIRTHDAY HP 3000!

And in case you wondered, yes I was yelling - I wanted the world to
know that a quarter of a century later the HP 3000 is still a
computer to be reckoned with!

As my little brass pin says: MPE Forever!  (BTW, has anyone ever
figured out where they came from???)
