At a client I suggested they can gain an extra six years breathing space
by going to hex dates. i.e. after 1999 comes 199A, 199B ... 199F. I meant
it facetiously, obviously, but was startled to get nothing back but deep
contemplation or a look of relief that an exposure was minimalized. sigh.
