since this doesn't seem to be a good day for either response
center at hp <sigh>, i'll try asking here....

i just got some 6.0pp2 reactive patches from hp.  one of the
patches is sqllx50.  the one-liner description says
'allbase/sql a.g3.15 for mpe/ix 5.5, 6.0 and 6.5'.  g3.15?
so if i install this beastie i've got to run the dreaded
sqlinstl script? <sigh>  both my 5.5 and the 6.0(!) boxes
are reporting allbase as g3.04.  (i'm quite amazed that we
didn't get *anything* new for allbase with 6.0....)       -
