Gentle Listers:
We have, per earlier postings, implemented MPE/iX 7.0 Powerpatch 1, quite without incident, I might add, a week ago.
Now, after installing 2.0.7 Samba which apparently came with the package of 7.0, doesn't work. Even though I can 'see' the Samba directories, mine and other users when I do the old 'map network drive', I get one of 2 errors: 1) Unexpected network error, or
2) the network name cannot be found. Do I have a permissions problem here? Mark Bixby helped me with Sendmail which was also hosed because of security on the 7.0 install.
Any other specificity, just drop me a note. I promise to share any positive findings.
TIA
