The old maxim that "Money can't buy Friends" turns out to be quite
applicable to this situation.  There are lots of people who will be more
than willing to take your money to execute a half-hearted port to your
platform, but getting them to actually commit to sell, support, and maintain
the package once the port is done seems to be impossible (based on past
experience).
