Greg Stigers ends his message, with the slogan:
"Kerry and Edwards for U.S. Senate"
I should point out that John Edwards is a one-term US Senator from NC. He is
retiring from the Senate when his term ends at the end of this year. He was
headed for certain defeat in his re-election bid in North Carolina and
decided to retire from the Senate and run for president.
I understand that, according to Gallup, when Sen. John Kerry announced John
Edwards as his running mate, the ticket took a 15 point plunge in North
Carolina.
To this day, I still cannot understand Kerry's choice for vice-presidential
running mate.
