For a long time, Jeff Kell has cared for HP3000-L (and our HP
3000) at UTC.  Unfortunately, Jeff is now on an extended medical
leave to give him a chance to recover from a serious illness that
has left him in intensive care for two weeks.  We don't know when
he will be able to get back to caring for the list, but he appears
to have turned the corner in the last few days and is on the
(probably long) road to recovery.

Fortunately for the list, listserv (from Lsoft) software is
pretty self maintaining.  For the time being we plan to just
let the list run without much direct attention.

If any problems develop about the list that I don't catch
(I can't keep up with reading it regularly all the time these
days), please notify either myself (see signature lines below
for my contact info) or Don Elrod ([log in to unmask], 423-755-5324).
