weeks ago and it eventually caused a system abort. Only solution was to
replace the drive and re-build the volume set from tape. I'm afraid you are
probably in for a long day.

MPE, HP-UX, and Openview technology training camp will be held November 9
1999 from 8am to 5pm. The conference will be held at the Crown Plaza North
Dallas Hotel and is sponsored by the NTRUG, BlueLine Services and Strategic
Memory Solutions.  Pre-registration is $95.00 if you register before October
31, 1999.

Bill Hassell (HP), Steve Cole (Outer Banks Solutions), and Eric Jacobs
(InoTech) are scheduled to speak.

Steve Cole will be covering the following topics:  upgrades, new releases,
features and functionality w/5.5 and 6.0, CI enhancements, Y2K enhancements,
implementing ARPA Services, On-line configuration and some of the "wheres and
hows" of Patch/iX and Stage/iX.

Bill Hassell will cover the following topics:  Managing 10.XX and 11.XX,
managing disk space, network maintenance, helpful administration tips, new
features of 11.XX, backup strategies, multiple system management, improving
response times, maximizing available computer power, some 9000 to NT
integrations ideas, and patch work, just to name a few.

Eric Jacobs will cover the HP OpenView product suite, demonstrait how
OpenView solutions are designed, how they enable the IT organization to focus
on meeting customers requirements proactively by detecting and solving issues
before they disrupt the work flow.  Learn how OpenView increases an IT
department's efficiency, lowers cost, and improves the quality and speed of
service before problems affect users.
