Randy,
I have never used NETMON, but I would be interested in looking at it.
The basic tools on the HP3k are
LINKCONTROL @,a
and
NETTOOL.NET.SYS --> RESOURCE --> DISPLAY
You can reset the linkcontrol counters and then look at them when/after
you experience the issue.

Has or does anyone use the NETMON on the hp3000 that Mark Bixby create
with Perl. I found reference to it back in 97 but link doesn't work
and
not sure if it's compatible with 7.5 OS anyway.
Having issues with connections to the HP3000 getting timeouts. Some are
ODBC and some are Web services. Not sure if anyone has a good way of
looking at in coming traffic. Network guys put a sniffer on one of the
Hp3000's but they don't see anything.
It's very sporadic.
