I was just given 2 week notice on the contract which was 90% of my computer
work and 100% of my HP3000 work. Sort of ironic for the last day of HP3000
sales.

Not just me. Every contractor in the IT department. Bad economic times for
the paper sector in particular and Canada in general.

For the moment this email address will stay around. I will let people now
when I need to switch emails.

Since many of you are in the same boat, I doubt asking for work here will
help much. Here goes anyway.

20 years of computer experience.
HP3000 experience plus a lot more.
Project management, Manufacturing, Financials.

Not willing to move (yet). Located west coast Canada). But I will of course
travel for in-person communications time. If someone is willing to deal with
me tele-commuting, I will work dang cheap. The less I have to travel, the
better my rate would be. And remember - rate would be in Canadian dollars so
US companies would be getting an immediate 20% discount right there.

I have dual citizenship: Canadian and U.S. So a special advantage for any
company needing someone who can work both sides of the border.

If at all interested, please look at my online information.
