What the hell is the matter with you? We weren't at war with anyone
when
the Pentagon was attacked, and there was no declaration of war from
anyone
after it was attacked.
It was an act of terrorism.
=============================

What the hell is the matter with YOU?
You may not have thought that you were at war, but in the eyes of many
extremists in the arab world, they are at war with the USA. Have you
read
anything of OBL's writings/history? These people believe that the West,

particularly the USA, is responsible for the death of many arabs in
Iraq,
Afghanistan, Palestine, etc, and are retaliating. The biggest problem
is,
apart from their very violent and one-eyed view, is that they have
stated
that civilians are equally as much a target as the military.

Yes, the 9-11 attacks were terrorist attacks, so was the Bali bombing,
and
the Israeli attacks on Palestinian civilians and IRA bombings and ...

Too many people don't stop to try to understand the other side's view.
They are people too, with families that they are trying to protect;
they
are scared and frightened too (probably more scared and frightened
than
most westerners).

Stop, think, try to understand, have some compassion, think about the
ordinary people rather than the megalomaniacs and extremists, and
maybe
we'll all live to see our children grow up.

We are on the brink of a terrible, catastrophic war, one which will not

be limited to the Iraq geographic area. It may strike many times
harder
and closer to home than the 11 Sept attacks. If you believe that Iraq
has weapons of mass destruction, you should also believe that they
will not hesitate to use them on their enemies as a last resort. If
you
don't believe that they have such weapons, then you should be
trying to stop this attack on Iraq.
