I'm conducting tests on some new disk technology which will require
building a few new user volume sets. I'd like to extend one of my
production accounts to one of these volume sets and build one new file
group in this set. After testing is completed, I'll need to purge the
group and account on this volumeset, scratch the volumeset and
reconfigure these disks into a different volumeset. I believe I should
be able to purge the group and account from the test volumeset without
affecting the directory or otherwise having to reload that entire
production account. Am I correct?

TIA,
