You must bridge the MAC addresses across all the router interfaces. There
were some postings on this in 1998. Check the archives.

Subject: DTC's on Lan using Cisco Routers

I'm currently testing a network setup using Cisco routers
and switches,
and CSU/DSU's (csu/dsu are not cisco).

We have successfully testing the network connecting a pc to
the HP3000.
When the DTC is cirectly connect to the HP3000 via ether-net
the DTC's
configurations is successfully downloaded. But when we
place the DTC on
the other side of the network the HP3000 can't find the DTC.

If it sounds like I'm rambling I am!
What must I do to make the HP3000 see the DTC when the
traffic passes
                thru the routers.
