Nice but nothing new; nothing I haven't already heard/read.

Where is the statement from Interex explaining their vote for the merger?
It seems Interex is lagging behind on current issues. Does it take Interex
this long to publish statement? This article covers Nov. 14, 2001. I'm
more interested in how much stock, we as members, hold in HP and why Interex
voted against the wishes of its members?

How long will it take Interex to answer these questions?

Subject: [HP3000-L] Interex finally speaks

Last night James Keller wrote:

As an Interex Board member, Denys [Beauchemin] has just published an
InterexPress
article (available to members) at:
 <http://www.interex.org/pubcontent/interexpress/apr02/apr02p7.jsp>
http://www.interex.org/pubcontent/interexpress/apr02/apr02p7.jsp .

I have taken this document and also placed it at:
 <http://www.interex.org/tech/3000/e3000commitment.html>
http://www.interex.org/tech/3000/e3000commitment.html
and also parts of it at:
 <http://www.interex.org/tech/3000/e3000issues.html>
http://www.interex.org/tech/3000/e3000issues.html
for those of you who are not members to review because what Denys
discusses is important to all those that have 3000s, migrating or
homesteading.
=====================

As one of the many critics of Interex, especially recently, I am surprised
that this has generated no comment on HP3000-L. Everyone who has an interest
in the HP 3000 should carefully read Denys' article because it puts forth
several commitments in the name of Interex. In a perfect world this would
have been published several months ago; however, I am glad Interex is
finally recognizing its HP 3000 user member's concerns. Words are of course
cheap. We will have to see how this all plays out. But, for the time being,
I'm willing to reconsider canceling my membership.
