If you are looking at just installing the exact same thing on several
identical or very similar boxes, I would look at something called
SystemImager.  VA Linux put it out and it does a fantastic job of taking
an image and pushing it out to many machines.  We use it at KBkids.com
to push an image out to our web farm.  It pushes 1.9Gb images out in 5
minutes.  There are also some options to have it change to configuration
as a post install job.  Check out http://www.systemimager.com.  This
might help you get those machines setup faster.
