The dsline and remote services does not come standard in the networking for
the hp e3000. it is purchased. I do believe that the Posix remsh does come
standard in current releases of the system.

Subject: networking two 3000's

Hi Folks,

I have 2 hp3000's connected on the same lan. I can use FTP for file transfer
between then successfully between them, worked great once I had the right
patches.

But I noticed in the manuals that NS/3000 allows you to link 3000's together
by using dsline etc... Is this standard software that I just need to
configure (if so how?) or is this a product you must purchase?

Thanks
