We have a Livingston 'Portmaster' with users coming in with bitsurfers.
I'm not sure of all the details, but the box(Livingston) is configurable
w/password protection & dialback capabilities. Oh yea we also have a few
modems (wont mention the mfg.) plugged into this 'Portmaster' for 28,800
access which also works well. The couple ISDN users that are currently
set up are using Tcp/ip in Win95 & reflection(VT) to access the 3000.
But the greatest positive comments have been the web surfers.... If you
want more detailed information let me know and I'll have our Network
Administrator call you. I know he spent several months researching this
before the purchase.....
