We had the same problem. Resource Sharing adds an additional FF at
the end of each spool file.  You're right it's very annoying.  We
bought Netware / ix and the problem went away. Next we'll be phasing
out Netware on the 3000 and using the Quest NBSpool product. (We do
not need to share files on the 3000).
