NOTE: DELETE THIS MESSAGE AND YOU DIE!!!!!!
Some way to welcome new users, by express mailing my first message to the
bit bucket!!!!!
I have a contributed library program called BOX which allows View
programs to incorporate a pop-up help screen. Problem: It only works on
terminal type 2392A (actually, Reflections 1 V5.10 running emulating
2392A, but who's counting). Why doesn't it work on newer terminal types
(700/92, 700/94, 700/96)? It would make more sense if it were vice
versa, since the NEW terminals should have a superset of the escape
sequences for the older terminals. WRQ provides an online term reference
that lists the newer escape sequences, but there is NO MENTION of
anything that would explain the incompatibility I've found.
Anyone got anything on this? Thanks.
