HP doesn't deliver an autoloader? I've got 5 HP 6400 48AL autoloaders
in our machine room right now . . . 6 slot DDS-2, approx. 48 Gb per 6
cartridge magazine. You can also get the OEM version from just about any
mass storage vendor - it works just fine.
 
I believe the 48AL was on quality hold from Nov - Feb (maybe it still is
- I don't really know). You can obtain the 48AL on waiver (if the
quality hold is still in effect) or you can get
the OEM version (which is free of the issue that resulted in the quality
hold for the 48AL).
