Hi  Stephen,
   Welcome to the world of HP!   3k's in particular hehehe :)

    First of all, Check with your local Regional Users Group (RUG) for the
seminars and conferences that they put on...these are really of great
educational value and you get to meet lots of people who work on HP boxes :)

    Second, just keep reading this list...The Gurus of the HP world are on here
:)!!!
Besides, HP employees regularly are on here to help us out too!

such as web sites, books, etc..  I've been working on an MPE system
for about 3 months now, after 10 years on an IBM m/f.  I do
applications development and am looking for helpful tips that will get
me up to speed, relative to IMAGE, Robelle products and the MPE system
overall.  I really admire this OS, it's much more friendly and
flexible than the IBM I came from.  I hope to become as fluent in this
OS as I did with MVS.
