There are virtual date/time products on the market that will allow you to do
this, but it is not generally a good idea. Freezing the date/time creates and
simulates an unnatural state that would never normally occur and could quit
possibly cause serious problems with various types of software like batch
schedulers.

If you don't mind my asking, what is it that you want to accomplish, perhaps
there is a better way to do it.

This may seem like a ridiculous question, but can the date & time
be frozen on the HP3000 without it incrementing like it normally does?

Thanks in advance!!!!!
