I have internal customers using the Oracle gateway product on MPEiX 6.0
machines.  Hopefully you'd gotten all of the patches from Oracle that you
could possible get --- before 12/31/2000 when they discontinued support for
the product on MPEiX.   I'd migrate to MPEiX 6.0 as soon as possible.

I'd start working on either a migration away from the Oracle product (if
possible) - or if required.... a migration away from the HP e3000's.
Staying on MPEiX 5.5 well beyond the support life of the OS is one of the
few ways of getting so far out of sync with the rest of the HP community
--- such that it becomes easier just to migrate to another platform.
