According to what I've read it's a valid virus, but has not been reported in
the wild yet. It is similar to the Melissa virus in that it proprogates
through email, sending a copy to everyone in your address book (outlook).
The program, when run, besides spreading, opens to display a Monolopy game
with a picture of Bill Gates superimposed on it. It also says something to
the effect that this proves that Micro$oft is a monopoly :-)

Anti-Virus software companies have already incorporated it into their
engines, or so it says.

This one does not appear to be a hoax. It also does not appear to be
too
terribly serious. I could not find it even mentioned in Symantec's
"SARC
Virus Encyclopedia". Network Associates has a page at
        http://vil.nai.com/vil/vbs10234.asp that states: "Risk Assessment:
Low",
with other information 'not available' or 'unknown'. I take these as
reminders to keep my anti-virus scanner and its definition files
current.

I am indebted to Tim Ericson who suggested searching the web for
"wobbler"
and "hoax" when that one went around. This seems to be faster than
looking
        it up at http://www.kumite.com/myths.
