John,

Thanks for the reply.  We don't use Patch/iX for installing patches here, we
use the Hpinstal method which automatically selects all the patches.  I am
assuming that the HPSPOOLID variable being a system variable would have been
patched automatically with the Hpinstal program.  It should be included with
some sort of 'general' patch which should be selected for any system... I
would think.  Strange.

Wilson,

As you know enhancement patches must be forced so it easy to miss one
when running PatchiX. Check your remote machines HPSWINFO file and
compare with yours to see if a patch is missing. I tried looking for the
proper patch number and cannot find it.
