What is the maximum speed that Terminals can be configured to run
when connected to DTCUs through both modem and ATP ports ?
If a terminal is connected to an ATP port with only Transmit, Receive
and ground, do you get buffer overflows at 19.2k ?
How does the MPE SPEED command interact with the terminal type
configured for the LDEV ?
If the LDEV is configured for Term type 10, and 9600 baud,
and a user changes his speed to 19.2k and the DTC will autosense this
speed, does the user signing back in at 19.2k override the default
configuration for the LDEV ?
Is the only difference in using a modem port, is that now hardware
handshaking, (Flow control) now eliminates the overflow situation ?
At MPE/iX 5.0 and HP now using XON/XOFF flow control and no longer
ENQ/ACK protocol does this affect speeds or connections ?
How come at 700/92 terminal can be configured for 38.4k but using the
MPE SPEED or SET SPEED commands says this is invalid ?
Thanks for enlightening me.
