Hi, Evan.

I guess I should say "Plug Alert" here:

ORBiT's Backup+ has been used with DLTs on 4.0 machines, so I can only
comment from that perspective.

Backup+ has been successfully used on MPE 4.0 machines with the DLTs that
we've marketed. I can't speak to the other products and devices, but the
general answer to your question using our products is to configure the
device as a DDS-2 instead of DLT.

The 3480 configuration has also worked under certain conditions, but
not all and there are changes in later versions of the OS regarding
that configuration.

I think we used to have a whitepaper at http://www.orbitsw.com about
DLTs, so try there.

Good luck.

Regards,

M.
