Michael,

If I understand correctly, you receive info on CD and copy the files to an
HP3000 HFS directory.  This can be done by configuring the HFS directory as
a Samba/iX share.  You can map the share and load the CD on your PC. Then
copy and paste.  The files will be MPE bytestream and may come over as read-
only.
