Carl,
At a site that I worked at many years ago (in the days when the Series
III was the largest 3000 you could get) we had a program that generated
a print that hit the max configurable spoolfile size. The only solution
available was to 'hot print'. To do this we had to stop the spooler on
the printer before the program was run. Not sure if this will work with
a network printer but you could give it a try.

Am I completely daft or is there not a link to download the patch? Also
I am wondering if there is an alternative method of getting a file sent
to an IP device without using the spooler as this seems to be the root
of all my trouble.
