Actually just a few minutes ago we demonstrated our Transport400 Migration
Toolset to the folks at IBM. This toolset will actually be licensed by
Sector7 www.sector7.com and it will be available in a short while. This
toolset will allow COBOL/IMAGE applications to be ported to the iSeries/DB2
environment with virtually no manual changes.
On the subject of education, IBM is offering a fast track iSeries
introduction class for MPE programmers August 5-8 in Rochester, Minnesota.
The price for this class is normally $900, however, we arranged a special
deal for only $450.
