I figured it out with the help of Kevin Miller. There has to be a leading
and trailing * for it to work.

Thanks Kevin.

Subject: dlt bar code labels

To the list,

I found a discussion in the archives regarding the creation of bar code
labels for DLT tapes. I also don't want to pay $4 per label. It sounded
like it was possible to create my own labels. I've tried using MSWord and a
3of9 barcode font with no success. Is there a special leading or trailing
character?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
