Sorry, VCHANGEFIELD does not do this.
And as far as I understand, VPLUS does not have dynamic fields.

However, if you have ever run BRWSTART, when you stream a job,
It "magically" displays fields at the bottom to prompt you
for logon user, account, and passwords.

It does this with the vplus VBLOCKWRITE/VBLOCKREAD calls.
The VBLOCKWRITE issues (before the 8 blanks) the necessary escape
sequences to create a data field.

So, it looks like you can perform some trickery.

[hmmm, besides the VPICKLIST request,
 need to add VADDFIELD, VDELFIELD requests]
