My wife and kids bought me a used Fender Jazz bass guitar, certainly an
upgrade from my beginner bass but cheap enough as not to be wasted on my
talent level.  The previous owner was a Nirvana fan and had the band's name
displayed in stick-on capital letters on the back of the bass.  Before the
sale, he or she had only removed the first letter - leaving IRVANA.  Upon
seeing this during the unwrapping, I wondered aloud if the bass was previous
used in some Yiddish grunge band...
