The method works without the spoolfile name, just use the jobnumber as a parameter. e.g.: 

  FORFILES @.OUT.HPSPOOL(SPOOL.JOBNUMBER=!HPJOBNUM)

in a JCL where the Job name is tracked and the spool file is copied to a
flat file...

I have several jobs in which I do the following: build the permanent
file,then fcopy from mpex, using REPEAT....FORFILES:

BUILD MYFILE;REC=-250,,F,ASCII;DISC=1000000
REPEAT
  :FCOPY FROM=!MPEXCURRENTFILE;TO=MYFILE
FORFILES @.OUT.HPSPOOL(SPOOL.FILE="MYSPOOL"  &  AND SPOOL.JOBNUMBER
=!HPJOBNUM)

In this example, I know the name of the spoolfile.
