Hello listers.

Has anyone been able to successfully make a socket
connection to a COBOL program using the NetIPC
Intrinsics from a process that *isn't* using the
intrinsics ?

I've been able to connect a Perl CGI program invoked
by Apache to a COBOL program making C calls using
libc.net.sys and socketrl.net.sys in a client/server
fashion, via sockets.

I can also connect two COBOL programs to each other
that *both* use the NetIPC Intrinsics via sockets.

But I'm having a heck of a time connecting between
one process that uses the NetIPC intrinsics and one
that doesn't. In this case the above mentioned Perl
CGI and a COBOL program using NetIPC intrinsics.

The error I get is :

Couldn't connect to [IP:PORT] Connection refused

Any help would be greatly appreciated !
