What version of the operating system are you running. One thing to think
about is just before the FTP, change the code of the file. Just so it looks
like a flat file.

Thanks!!

        Subject: FTP'ing spool files

I have an application where I need to take saved report
listings from
the HP3000 (as FCOPY'ed spool file to a permanent directory),
programmatically copy them to an NT server, archive them and make
them
available to the PC users. I have tried using the normal FTP
protocol
and I keep getting a message that only standard MPE/iX files are
        permitted.
Am I missing something or is there some other way to send
those files
over to the NT server? Thanks
