Greetings from a "list lurker"

Our users have complained about differences in the "return" key and the
"enter" key. Is their any way to standardize the functionality of these
keys. The "tech" guys say that one is used for character mode and the
other is used for block mode.

I did some experimentation myself and discovered that using the "enter" on
the numeric key pad does not work correctly when I try to login or when I
am in command mode (at the :prompt).

SURELY, there is a solution to this problem.

Thanks -- Ed Mitchell
