Presumably, you're expecting to see some alphanumeric characters on
your display.
According to your example, it appears that you have done it correctly.
That assumes that:
1. the file WAS created with the ebdcicout option
2. there are no packed or binary fields contained in the original
file (the file that was ebcdicout'ed, if you get my drift)
It would be useful to show the results of a listf xyx,2.
