What with power being shipped down from the Pacific Northwest
to California, it hardly solves any problem to move a plant
up here! (I live in Vancouver, Washington, next to Portland, Oregon.)
They already have asked us all to converve power
here in Washington state, so we can send it to California.

They just raised power costs 20% locally, with another increase scheduled
for a few months from now when the state wide power cost increases are made.
Many people are being forced to conserve but prices alone!

The problem is that most of the easy to accomplish conservation has already
been done, and squeezing additional savings out is getting harder
and harder to do.
