We are also running TurboStore for our backups with a DDS-3 6-tape
autoloader. We run our backup out of a job, and I have snipped the
following lines to indicate how we do it:

!DEVCTRL.MPEXL.TELESUP 8 EJECT=ENABLE
!DEVCTRL.MPEXL.TELESUP 8 COMPRESSION=ENABLE
!DEVCTRL.MPEXL.TELESUP 8 LOAD=ONLINE
!PAUSE 5
!FILE T;DEV=8
!STORE ^DLYFILES;*T

As you can see, although you can't run devctrl WHILE TurboStore is
running, you can run it IN ADVANCE of your backup command and the options
will be effective until they are changed (or the system is rebooted). Make
sure your tape device is configured as an autoreply device in SYSGEN
first.

I'm stuck.  I have a new HPe3000 running MPEiX 7.5 and TurboStore writing
to
a DDS-3 in a 6 tape autoloader configured in stacker mode.  Here's the
problem.  When TurboStore finishes with the first tape it doesn't eject
it.
It waits for the operator to tell the loader to load the 2nd tape (and 3rd
and 4th, etc).  I can't be the first that has had to deal with this.  I
can't find any options in TurboStore to control this.  I can't use devctrl
when TurboStore is running.  What do I do?  Even when I move to a DLT with
a
loader it's going to take more that one tape to do a backup and I assume
I'm
going to have the same problem.
